Today is a special episode as we interview two “Mud Angels” who helped in the aftermath of the 1966 Flood of the Arno River in Florence, Italy. Ken and Ann Marie Thigpen met on the program and have been married for over 50 years. Today we talk to them about the story of how they met, how they helped with cleanup efforts after the flood, and how their class became known as the “Mud Angels.”
